Today’s question is:
I’m about to launch a copywriting day rate service because it’ll be AMAZING for bundling up those odds and ends type jobs. And also containing work/hours.
But I’m worried as a service that promotes quick results without the lengthy research phase / I can write an about page in eight hours is going to undermine, cut its lunch, cannibalize, contradict, not sure the right description here, my other service, which is a full-scale website project with SEO and VOC research, et cetera.
The full website package is not a small investment. And I guess the client is paying for all the legwork that goes into it.
So can the two services co-exist, is this even a question or am I this far into an overthinking hole right now?
Sincerely,
Overthinking Olive.
In this week’s episode, we help a listener to work out whether a day rate will undermine her other bigger, more expensive services. And talk through how you can help differentiate the two offers to make each one seem appealing for the right people.
